Who is this course for?
This course is for those who have achieved the Level 1 Award in Art and Design qualification or have experience in the topic who would like to to hone their skills in preparation for a Level 2 qualification.
What can I expect to learn?
This course will cover basic art and design techniques and will expand your knowledge base ready for study at level 2.
How will I know how I am progressing?
Learning will take place online with the use of the VLE and live interactive webinars. Demonstrations of techniques will be available as video and written content.
Peer learning is encouraged and the use of online discussion boards within the VLE will be used, as well as websites such as Padlet to allow the sharing of work, ideas and questions.
Will I have any homework?
All work will be complete independently at home as this is a distance learning course. The amount you are able or wish to complete will be self-selected.
What will I need to provide?
For the first session please be prepared with the following
A camera or camera phone
You will need a laptop, tablet or PC with webcam a microphone, internet connection with Google Chrome browser, an email address and be able to access websites.
Access to a printer is beneficial but not essential.
What can I do next?
You will be able to enrol on the
NCFE Level 2 Award in Creative Craft Art and Design.
