The AAT Access Award in Business Skills offers students at Level 1 the opportunity to develop key practical skills used in every business as a route into employment.
On completion of this qualification, students will also be equipped with a strong foundation from which to progress to further study with AAT in either accountancy or bookkeeping if they would like to do so.
Please bring lunch with you, as lunch is not provided.

What can I expect to learn?
The AAT Access Award in Business Skills offers learners at L1 the opportunity to develop key practical skills used in every business as a route into employment. On completion of this qualification students will be equipped with a strong foundation from which to progress to further study with AAT in either accountancy or bookkeeeping if they wish to do so.

How will I know how well I am doing?
There will be opportunities during the session to discuss your progress with your tutor and fellow learners and receive constructive developmental feedback to support you in achieving the most from the course. You will be encouraged to reflect on what you have learnt and provide us with your written feedback on the experience in your one day individual learning plan.

What will I need to provide?
PLEASE NOTE-this course will start off within a virtual classroom with audio and interactive presentations and discussions and will remain so until we can safely return to a classroom environment. You will need to access our VLEand virtuall classroom using a device that supports Chrome or Firefox .ACL will provide you with a log in and instructions. Please also have access to a pen/pencil and notepaper.

Are there any other costs?
No, however your tutor may recommend further reading, research and/or websites for further independent exploratory learning.
