Come and explore the craft of toy making in this introductory workshop.

Who is this course for?
Come and explore the craft of toy making in this introductory workshop.

What can I expect to learn?
You will learn to stitch multiple pieces together with joints, set in glass eyes, embroider features.

How will I know how I am progressing?
You will negotiate your objectives with the tutor at the start of the course and these will be reviewed regularly. You will be given a sketchbook to record your progress and evidence your achievements. The tutor will provide developmental feedback throughout the course to ensure you get the most from your learning with ACL.

Will I have any homework?
Writing notes from class, create designs in sketchbook and research activities set by the tutor.

What will I need to provide?
Resources are not included in the course fee - For the first session you will need to bring: - scissors - 1 metre of fabric - thread - needles - ruler - pen - pins - newspaper or toy stuffing Your tutor will give you information about resources needed for the rest of course during the first session.
