Description
Join us virtually and get inspiration from the work of artists past and present while creating your own art. Try different media, including pencils, drawing pens, watercolours and acrylics to experiment and choose your favourite to work with. Your work will be displayed in a shared online gallery space. To participate in this course, you will need a laptop, tablet or PC with webcam a microphone, internet connection with Google Chrome browser, an email address and be able to access websites.

This course is for the enthusiastic, cautious and anyone who hasn't done art for a long time and is wondering where to begin.

What can I expect to learn?
You will learn to draw and paint with a range of different media - this could include
- Watercolours
- Acylics
- Oils
- Charcoal
- Pen and Wash
You will produce some exciting work.
How will I know how I am progressing?
You will negotiate your objectives with the tutor at the start of the course and these will be reviewed regularly. You will be given a sketchbook to record your progress and evidence your achievements. The tutor will provide developmental feedback throughout the course to ensure you get the most from your learning with ACL.
Will I have any homework?
Homework is not compulsory, however you are encouraged to continue practising at home.
What will I need to provide?
Please bring a pen, pencil, eraser and chalk or charcoal if you have it available.
You will be given advise on other course materials by the tutor. Costs may vary depending on the projects chosen.
It is recommended that you speak to the tutor prior to purchasing expensive resources.
