We'd like to invite parents and carers to a relaxed and informative session at Rettendon Primary all about understanding children's anxieties and how we can support them. During this workshop, we'll explore what anxiety can look like in children, why it happens, and the practical strategies we use in school to help pupils feel safe, confident, and more in control. You'll also gain simple ideas you can use at home to reassure and guide your child through worrying moments. We hope you can join us as we work together to support our children's wellbeing and emotional resilience.

Who is the course for?
Parents/carers and grandparents of children living in Essex.
What can I expect to learn?
You will have an understanding of how you can help your child manage their anxiety. You will be given strategies on how to discuss this and support your child as well.
How will I learn?
The sessions will be facilitated by the tutor in an informal and relaxed environment.
How will I know how well I am doing?
You will be given tutor feedback at the end of each task. The tutor will work with you to support you with any individual issues that you may be experiencing.
Will I have to do any work at home?
You will be given exercises to try out at home.
What will I need to provide?
A device suitable for accessing Microsoft Teams for online courses.
