The Essential Skills Pathway for Employment course combines Functional Skills Maths, IT, and Job Search skills. This comprehensive programme is designed to equip you with the essential skills needed for gaining employment. Throughout the course, you will engage with various digital tools and platforms, learning how to navigate and use them effectively in a professional context. Whether you are entering the workforce for the first time or seeking to advance your career, this course will provide you with the qualifications and guidance necessary to achieve your goals.
Who is this course for?
This course is designed for individuals seeking to undertake a Functional Skills qualification, enhance their digital skills, and confidently search for employment.
What can I expect to learn?

How will I learn?
The classes will include a blend of demonstrations, discussions, and hands-on practice using IT. You will be expected to attend all 3 sessions every week.
How will I know how well I am doing?
You will undertake tasks and receive feedback on your results. Feedback may be verbal or written. You will record your progress on an individual learning plan.
Will I need to do extra work at Home?
Yes. Homework will be set and it is highly recommended that all new skills are put into practice outside of the class.
What will I need to provide?
You will need a notepad and pen for making notes.
As a learner with us, you will have access to the online version of Office 365. Please note that the online version may have features that differ from desktop versions you have previously used.
