This session is designed for people interested in learning the techniques to deal with resilience firstly on a personal level, for those looking for employment and for those who would like to develop their current skills and knowledge and learn how to manage resilience more effectively.

What Qualification/level is this course?
There is no formal qualification attached to this workshop. You will learn the fundamentals of how to manage your resilience.

Who is the course for?
For those who would like to learn the techniques to manage their resilience more effectively and successfully whilst developing their current skill set. For those who would like to build their confidence on a personal level and how resilience can support them in their everyday life, including gaining employment.

What can I expect to learn?
The definition of resilience A better understanding of resilience Recognising early warning signs or symptons of anxiety and stress within yourself Understand the significant benefits of supporting yourself and others with resilience in times of uncertanty and change Dealing with conflict and finding suitable resolutions to harness resilience Identify resources to support mental health Boosting resilience within yourself and within a workplace

How will I learn?
Your tutor will use a number of different teaching and learning methods, for example; Verbal instructions and explanations, One to one support and feedback, Question and Answers, Discussion, Handouts, Power Point presentations

How will I know how well I am doing?
Your tutor will monitor progress throughout the session by observing interaction and activities, asking questions and giving verbal feedback.

Will I have to do any work at home?
We recommend you embed the tools learnt into your everyday life.

What will I need to provide?
You will need to have access to Microsoft Teams and be able to install the programme onto your computer or phone. Your computer/phone must have a camera and microphone facility. Pen and paper/pad for taking notes.

Are there any other costs?
No, however your tutor may recommend further reading, research and/or websites for further independent exploratory learning.
