This course is live online with an experienced Life Coach. Adaptability is a key quality that is more important than ever during our current times. This includes the ability to think wider in the scope of what alternative employment opportunities you could consider. Delivered by an experienced Life Coach, this course will guide you through a process of identifying your core values, current circumstances, and transferable skills to prepare you for the changing job market and enable you to identify areas and roles of work that could open new doors.

What Qualification/level is this course?
This course does not lead to a qualification, is for personal development and is at beginner level in this subject.

Who is this course for?
Anyone in-between jobs or who is considering a job/career change.

What can I expect to learn?
Topics include: Identify your work needs and values; Explore core strengths and skills; Gain techniques on how to identify your transferable skills; Learn how to demonstrate your transferable skills in applications and interviews; Gain inspiration on how to think outside the box in your job search and direction; Map out your next proactive steps and action plan.

How will I learn?
Tutor presentation, online group discussion, ideas and feedback in online live ‘chat’ and journal, self-reflections and personal research. Sessions will be interactive and equip participants with a range of tools for immediate application in their own lives and with others in their personal or professional life. Please come with an open mind and a willingness to explore yourself in order to move forward.

How will I know how well I am doing?
Learners will receive feedback at different points within the online workshop

Will I need to do any work at home?
In week one each person will be have a small practical development assignment which will involve putting something that has been learnt on the course, into practice in real life. Learners can share on their progress in the following session.

What will I need to provide?
You will need a laptop or PC with webcam and microphone, internet connection, an email address and be able to access websites. A notepad and pen.
