Using virtual reality headsets we will take you into a new immersive world to take a step out of the everyday and into the calming, relaxing world of meditation to truly experience the here and now.

This course does not lead to a qualification and is for personal development.
Who is this course for?
Anyone with an interest in the subject, no previous experience required.
What can I expect to Learn?
Immerse yourself in a calm, relaxing virtual world to develop your skills in meditation and mindfulness. Using VR headsets to step away from the real world for a little space and inner peace that supports learning to control/manage or reduce negative thinking. Gain an understanding of the history and development of meditation along with practical activities that support techniques and methods in applying meditation and mindfulness to find the methods that work for you.
How will I learn?
This course is live online, with tutor and group meeting in a virtual classroom. A range of teaching and learning activities including tutor presentations and group and individual discussion and activities, reference to online resources.
How will I know how well I am doing?
Tutor feedback, evaluation activities and self-reflection will enable you to understand your progress. Assessment will be on-going throughout the course linked to an individual learning plan where you will be encouraged to record your feedback.
Will I need to do extra work at home?
No but you will be encouraged to continue with the practices that you have learnt
