Description
Learn how to cut hair, from cutting the family's or as a basis for progressing to a professional hairdressing course. A 'blockhead' will need to be purchased (approximately £35) to practise on.

Who is this course for?
The Barbering Getting Started Course is perfect for: Beginners eager to learn the basics of Barbering.
What can I expect to learn?
Learn how to cut hair, from cutting the family's or as a basis for progressing to a professional Barbering course
How will I learn?
The classroom based learning will be a mixture of demonstrations, discussions and lots of hands on practice . There will an experienced tutor to help and guide you at all times.
How will I know how well I am doing?
Learners with the tutor will complete;
An Initial Assessment Questionnaire
Confidential Health Questionnaire
An Individual Learning Plan
Progression will be monitored by the course tutor, and reviewed with the learner
at the end of this workshop .
If learners have any doubts about their personal health and/or fitness they should consult their GP prior to enrolling and inform the tutor at the first session of any medical condition that may affect their progress.
Am I expected to do work at home?
Practicing the techniques seen and learned will enhance your knowledge and skills
What will I need to provide?
You will need a notepad and pen for making notes. Additional equpiment will be discussed with your tutor prior to starting the course.
As a learner with us, you will have access to the online version of Office 365. Please note that the online version may have features that differ from desktop versions you have previously used.
