This course is suitable for those who would like to learn how to create their CV using Digital Skills. There is an expectation that to join the course you will have basic mouse and keyboard skills.

This course will provide you with the tools to use MS Word to create a CV.

This course is suitable for those who would like to learn how to create their CV using Digital Skills.
There is an expectation that to join this course you have basic mouse control and computer skills.
What can I expect to learn?
You will learn how to use functions within Word to format and layout a CV to ensure it will meet an employer's requirements.
How will I learn?
The classroom based learning will be a mixture of demonstrations, discussions and lots of hands on practice using the devices in our IT suites. There will an experienced tutor to help and guide you at all times.
How will I know how well I am doing?
You will undertake tasks and receive feedback on your results. Feedback may be verbal or written. You will record your progress on an individual learning plan.
Will I need to do extra work at Home?
No homework will be set but it is highly recommended that all new skills are put into practice outside of the class.
What will I need to provide?
You will need a notepad and pen for making notes.
As a learner with us, you will have access to the online version of Office 365. Please note that the online version may have features that differ from desktop versions you have previously used.
