New and aspiring team leaders wanting to develop strong leadership knowledge and skills, which are essential for providing guidance, direction and instruction to lead more effective teams whilst keeping employees motivated.
This course would also be suitable for those wishing to building confidence, and/or those returning to work and/or those wishing to gain employment.
What can I expect to learn?
Tools to develop knowledge of:
Principles of team leading skills, including leadership styles.

How to communicate work related information. Understand how to deliver Customer Service and resolve problems. Introduction to Coaching. Introduction to Mentoring. Understand personal development
How will I learn?
Your tutor will use a number of different teaching and learning methods for example; verbal instructions and explanations, one to one discussions with question and answers and computer-based research
How will I know how well I am doing?
Your tutor will monitor progress throughout the course through monthly one to one phone calls and by assessing and marking submitted work via an online platform, on which you will receive developmental written feedback.
You will regularly be set targets to keep you on track with learning and completing the course in a timely manner
Will I have to do work at home?
We recommend at least 4 -5 hours a week to complete research and home study.
What will I need to provide?
Pen and paper/pad for taking notes. Access to a computer to complete work through an online platform. Telephone and Teams for one to one discussions with your Tutor.
