Skills Bootcamps are free flexible courses of up to 16 weeks for people looking for a new role or job opportunity. Once you complete the course, you will be provided with advice and guidance in ascertaining an interview with a potential employer. If you're self-employed, you'll be able to use the training to seek new opportunities for your business. If you're being supported by your current employer to complete the Skills Bootcamp, then you'll be offered a new role or new responsibilities.

Skills Bootcamp: Digital Marketing includes a level 2 Award in Digital Marketing qualification taking place twice a week - Tuesday & Wednesday (note first lesson only is on a Tuesday).

What Will Happen At My First Lesson
The first week of your course will include Study Skills. Good Study Skills are vital to ensure you gain the best from your course. The Study Skills session will give you the opportunity to discover the best way that you can learn and fully understand the requirements of the course.

Qualification Aim/Level
Skills Bootcamp Sales, Marketing and Procurement - Digital marketing - Level 3 You must undertake an initial assessment prior to enrolling on this course. We will assess English, maths, and digital skills. Comprehensive IAG session will review experience/employment history with progress tracking via an Individual Learning Plan. Scheduled review sessions will also reflect on well-being and resilience, career coaching, and preparation for interviews. Module summative assessments will include case studies, reports, and structured questions that enable reasonable adjustments to support individual learner's needs. Final assessment will be a 30-minute presentation with Q&A, that meets the KSB's of a Digital Marketing Campaign brief, and an evidence portfolio including artefacts and supporting annotation. Includes level 2 Award in Digital Marketing

What can I expect to learn?
Planning & Creating a Marketing Campaign: process theory, concepts, and tools. Key topics: SWOT, PESTLE, project management, GANTT charts, MS Teams & SharePoint, Google Analytics Research and competitor analysis. Key topics: Research methods: surveys, interviews, secondary data Branding theory. Key topics: Visual identity and positioning, Personality and values. Regulatory legislative requirements, and sustainability. Key topics: GDPR, PECR, ASA, Copyright, Designs and Patents Act Content creation and editing - current and emerging technologies. Key topics: Graphics and image editing, Writing content- impact and readability, Search Engine Optimisation. Evaluating marketing activity. Key topics: KPIs, Social media insights, Analysis: trends, patterns, and correlations. Presentation skills and presentation of finalised marketing campaign

How will I learn?
Your tutor will use a number of different teaching methods to develop your skills. These will include a wide range of authentic materials, individual study, working in pairs/group activities and will include the use of video/audio. You will also have the opportunity to use online learning technologies to develop your skills.

How will I know how well I am doing?
The learning materials consist of practical activities and exercises which are used to check learning and progress. Tutors will monitor your development of new skills and provide regular feedback.

What will I need to provide?
In order to enrol on your chosen course please bring the following to your initial assesment: Evidence of any prior qualifications National Insurance number- If in receipt of a state benefit and wish to apply for a reduction in the fees Passport if you have not been resident in the UK/EAA for the past 3 years. Proof of ID (Passport or photo driving licence) for award body registration. The tutor will advise you of anything else you need to provide but you may find it useful to bring a notepad and pen for making notes and a USB memory stick for saving work. As a learner with us, you will have access to the online version of Office 365. Please note that the online version may have features that differ from desktop versions you have previously used.
