Description

Learners can use Scratch to code their own interactive stories, animations, and games. In the process, they learn to think creatively, reason systematically, and work collaboratively. Essential skills for everyone in today's society.

What is this course about?
An opportunity to spend time together with your children and join in with fun learning activities. We have a lot of different activities to choose from.

Who is the course for?
This course is for parents/carers and grandparents of children living in Essex.

What can I expect to learn?
Joining in with fun learning activities and games to do as a family.

How will I learn?
The sessions will be facilitated by the tutor in an informal and relaxed environment.

How will I know how well I am doing?
You will be given tutor feedback at the end of each task. The tutor will work with you to support you with any individual issues that you may be experiencing.

Will I have to do any work at home?
This session will give you ideas of other fun activities you do at home together as a family.

What will I need to provide?
All materials will be provided within the session.

Are there any other costs?
There are no extra costs associated with this course.

When you finish this course we will provide you with details about what programmes you can move on to next both for you as an adult and also for your family.
