About Boys Course - ABC 5-11
This four-session course is designed for mothers of boys aged of 5-11. It offers valuable insights into your son's development, behaviour, and unique needs. Through engaging discussions and practical advice, you'll gain:
1. A deeper understanding of your son's development and behaviour.
2. Effective strategies for setting boundaries and managing discipline.
3. Increased confidence to support him through challenges.
Each 2 hour session covers a key topic:
Week 1: Explore the differences between boys and girls and understand boys' developmental milestones.
Week 2: Learn about discipline and boundaries, including various discipline styles.
Week 3: Gain insight into why boys behave the way they do and what motivates them.
Week 4: Discover ways to help your son get the most out of school and prepare for success.
By the end of the course, you'll feel more empowered and equipped to nurture your son's growth with confidence and care.
This course is for parents & carers of children attending St Francis Catholic Primary School, Maldon ONLY.

The sessions will be facilitated by the tutor in an informal and relaxed environment.
How will I know how well I am doing?
You will be given tutor feedback at the end of each task. The tutor will work with you to support you with any individual issues that you may be experiencing.
Will I have to do any work at home?
There will be tasks set to do with your child and then to report back to your tutor.
What will I need to provide?
A pen and paper.
