This 2-hour course is designed for families with primary-aged children to learn essential strategies for navigating the internet safely. Through interactive discussions and practical activities, parents and children will explore topics such as recognizing online risks, understanding privacy settings, and fostering open communication about internet use. By the end of this course, families will be equipped with the knowledge and tools to create a safer online environment for their children.

An opportunity to spend time together with your children and join in with fun learning activities. We have a lot of different activities to choose from.

This course is for parents/carers and grandparents of children living in Essex.

Joining in with fun learning activities and games to do as a family.

The sessions will be facilitated by the tutor in an informal and relaxed environment.
How will I know how well I am doing?
You will be given tutor feedback at the end of each task. The tutor will work with you to support you with any individual issues that you may be experiencing.
Will I have to do any work at home?
This session will give you ideas of other fun activities you do at home together as a family.
