Who is the course for?
This is for all individuals that have an interest in learning necessary digital skills to support their journey to self employment.

What can I expect to learn?
You'll learn about the practical aspects of being self-employed, including income sources, expenditure types, and effective record-keeping. Learn to manage your online presence, create compelling content, conduct transactions, and ensure cybersecurity. Additionally, you'll discover the support available to help you thrive in your self-employment journey.

How will I learn?
The sessions will be interactive with video and audio for tutor presentation and demonstration.The tutor will guide you through the sessions to ensure that you achieve the course outcomes.

How will I know how well I am doing?
Your tutor will give feedback as appropriate throughout the course to help you gauge your progress. Feedback may be verbal or written. You will record your progress on an individual learning plan.

Will I have to do any work at home ?
No homework will be set but it is highly recommended that all new skills are put into practice outside of the class.

What will I need to provide?
You will need a laptop, PC or tablet, with audio and webcam facility, internet connection and Google Chrome browser, an email address and be able to access websites. Notepad and pen for note taking.
