What can I expect to learn?
In this course, you'll learn programming fundamentals, computational logic, logic gates, and both text-based and graphical languages. You'll explore their applications and differences, and gain hands-on experience in designing, developing, testing, documenting, and reviewing simple computer programs.
How will I learn?
The classroom based learning will be a mixture of demonstrations, discussions and lots of hands on practice using the devices in our IT suites. There will an experienced tutor to help and guide you at all times.
How will I know how well I am doing?
Your tutor will give feedback as appropriate throughout the course to help you gauge your progress. Feedback may be verbal or written. You will record your progress on an individual learning plan.
Will I have to do any work at home ?
No homework will be set but it is highly recommended that all new skills are put into practice outside of the class.
What will I need to provide?
