This course is for people interested in becoming a digital skills volunteer

What can I expect to learn?
Participants will learn to navigate online platforms, manage digital communications, troubleshoot common IT issues, and support others in developing their digital literacy.

How will I learn?
The classroom based learning will be a mixture of demonstrations, discussions and lots of hands on practice using the devices in our IT suites. There will an experienced tutor to help and guide you at all times.

How will I know how well I am doing?
Your tutor will give feedback as appropriate throughout the course to help you gauge your progress. Feedback may be verbal or written. You will record your progress on an individual learning plan.

Will I have to do any work at home ?
No homework will be set but it is highly recommended that all new skills are put into practice outside of the class.

What will I need to provide?
You will need a notepad and pen for making notes. As a learner with us, you will have access to the online version of Office 365.
