You must enrol/attend a Pre course assessment/interview prior to enrolling on this course. This course is a Level 2 qualification for those wishing to work in the Beauty industry. This course provides students with the knowledge and skills required to work as a professional nail technician. Students will learn about nail anatomy, nail diseases and disorders, nail product chemistry, and various nail enhancement techniques.

This is a Level 2 course. You must undertake an initial assessment prior to enrolling on this course. What can I expect to Learn?
.In the Nail Technology VTCT Level 2 Certificate course, you'll learn essential skills such as: Providing and maintaining nail enhancements (UV gels or acrylics); Manicure treatments; Pedicure treatments; Nail art; Client care and communication; Health and safety practices in a salon. These skills will help you confidently deliver professional nail services.

How will I learn?
The classroom based learning will be a mixture of demonstrations, discussions and lots of hands on practice . There will an experienced tutor to help and guide you at all times.

How will I know how well I am doing?
Your tutor will give feedback as appropriate throughout the course to help you gauge your progress. Feedback may be verbal or written. You will record your progress on an individual learning plan.

Will I need to do extra work at home?
Will I be expected to do extra work at home? Learners must be prepared to set aside additional time for the practice of techniques and skills acquired on family and friends as well as completion of essential theory and home assignments via ILT research, reading and revision of approximately 10 hours per week

What will I need to provide?
You will need a notepad and pen for making notes. Additional equpiment will be discussed with yout Tutor As a learner with us, you will have access to the online version of Office 365. Please note that the online version may have features that differ from desktop versions you have previously used.
