What can I expect to Learn?
By the end of the course learners will be able to: Understand the concept of neurodiversity and its significance. Recognise various neurodiverse conditions, such as autism, ADHD, dyslexia, and more. Explore the strengths and challenges associated with neurodiversity. Apply strategies for creating inclusive environments in both personal and professional settings. Develop empathy and effective communication skills for interacting with neurodiverse individuals.

How will I learn?
A range of teaching and learning activities including tutor presentations and group and individual discussion and activities with reference to online resources.

How will I know how well I am doing?
Tutor feedback, evaluation activities and self-reflection will enable you to understand your progress. Assessment will be on-going throughout the course linked to an individual learning plan to be regularly updated with learner and tutor feedback.

Will I need to do extra work at home?
Yes you will be encouraged to reflect on your learning each week to develop skills. Learning resources and internet links to further information supports learning between sessions.

What will I need to provide?
A notepad and pen for notetaking.
