Description
An immersive experience designed to help participants explore their creativity and enhance their mental wellbeing through journaling. This course focuses on the therapeutic and expressive aspects of journaling, providing a supportive environment for personal growth and self-expression. By the end of this course you will have created a personalized journal that reflects your unique experiences and emotions, equipped with the skills to continue their journaling practice independently.

Anyone interested in supporting and maintaining their wellbeing in a creative way.
What can I expect to Learn?
By the end of the course learners will have:
Learn the basics of creative journaling, including different styles and techniques to personalize your journal.
Engage in mindfulness exercises and reflective practices to deepen your journaling experience and promote psychological wellbeing.
Experiment with various art materials such as pens, watercolours and collage to create visually appealing journal pages.
Participate in guided activities that encourage self-discovery, gratitude, and positive thinking.
How will I learn?
A range of teaching and learning activities including tutor presentations and group and individual discussion and activities with reference to online resources.
How will I know how well I am doing?
Tutor feedback, evaluation activities and self-reflection will enable you to understand your progress. Assessment will be on-going throughout the course linked to an individual learning plan to be regularly updated with learner and tutor feedback.
Will I need to do extra work at home?
Yes you will be encouraged to apply your learning each day using your creative journal to reflect on your learning, personal wellbeing and growth. Undertake research into learning resources and internet links to further information that supports learning between sessions.
What will I need to provide?
A notepad and pen for notetaking and a reflective journal. The art materials are of your own choice so please bring the materials you already own to the first session
