The Information Advice and Guidance (IAG) Course. This six-month programme is designed specifically for individuals who are currently working or aspiring to work in an IAG setting. Our course aims to enhance your skills and knowledge, enabling you to provide high-quality advice and guidance service

Who is the course for?
This qualification has been designed for any learner that wants to develop their underpinning knowledge for the key principles of information, advice or guidance, and apply these within their own work context.

How will I learn?
An online self study course with tutor support. Learners will also be asked to carry out research and reflection for the subject area and be directed to online tools. Learners must successfully demonstrate their achievement of all learning outcomes for each of the units using an assigned online platform.
How will I know how well I am doing?
Learners will have a tutor who will communicate on the online platform and when needed via Microsoft Teams and email.
Work will be regularly assessed and marked, and learners will be provided with encouraging developmental feedback.
Targets will be set at different stages of the course to enable learners to meet personal and course objectives.
Will I have to do any work at home?
We recommend at least 8 - 10 hours a week to complete research, reading and home study and written assignments.
The maximum duration of the course is 6 months.
What will I need to provide?
Learners will need to have access to a computer or tablet to enable them to access the online platform to complete and submit work.
Are there any other costs?
There are no other costs in addition to the course fee.
