Level 2 Award in Digital Marketing
Description
The aim of this Award is for learners to undertake the planning and management of a marketing campaign. They will research a range of platforms used for digital marketing such as TV, print and digital advertising, websites and social media to inform the creation of their own campaign. This may be to promote a product or raise awareness of an issue. They will review their work in response to the design brief and outline improvements for future practice.

Who is the course for?
This course is for learners who want to learn about digital marketing campaigns and then carry out a campaign of their own with tutor support.
What can I expect to learn?
Platforms learnt about in relation to digital marketing will be TV websites and social media and print and digital advertising.
How will I learn
The course will be online with tutor support and you will put together a portfolio of evidence for assessment at the end of the course.
How will I know how well I am doing?
Learners will have a tutor who will communicate on the online platform and when needed via telephone or Microsoft Teams.
Work will be regularly assessed and marked, and learners will be provided with encouraging developmental feedback.
Targets will be set at different stages of the course to enable learners to meet personal and course objectives.
Will I have to do any work at home?
We recommend at least 8 - 10 hours a week to complete research, reading and home study.
Typically, the course can be completed in 4 months.
What will I need to provide?
Learners will need to have access to a computer or device to enable them to visit the online platform to complete and submit work and be able to meet on MS Teams.
Telephone to enable tutor contact.
Pen/pad of paper for taking notes for example to use during one to one phone meetings.
Are there any other costs?
There are no other costs in addition to the course fee.
