Sibling rivalry is a normal part of growing up, but it can sometimes disrupt the peace at home. Join our free, interactive online workshop to explore why it happens and how to help your children resolve disputes, build empathy, and enjoy calmer, more playful relationships with each other. Led by a friendly Family Learning Tutor, this lively session offers practical tips and creative ways to get siblings working together—not against each other.
What is this course about?
A course to support you to understand sibling rivalry, as well as picking up some tips and strategies to make life a little bit easier.This is a LIVE interactive course so you will need to log on at the given time to access the course.
Who is the course for?
Parents/carers and grandparents of school aged children living in Essex.
What can I expect to learn?
Tips and strategies on making parenting as stress free as possible.
How will I learn?
This course is being run online. The sessions will be facilitated by the tutor in an informal and relaxed environment.
How will I know how well I am doing?
You will be given tutor feedback at the end of each task. The tutor will work with you to support you with any individual issues that you may be experiencing.
Will I have to do any work at home ?
There will be tasks set to do with your child and then to report back to your tutor.
What will I need to provide?
A phone, laptop or tablet which can connect to the internet.
GUIDANCE FOR ONLINE SESSIONS
1 Online sessions are hosted via Microsoft Teams
2 A link will be sent to your email address between 1 to 24 hours prior to the session commencing
